The goal of Design III was to explore Transit Oriented Design (T.O.D) and the process of producing a set of drawings for an apartment complex. We were given an empty parcel of land as our concept space. We needed to research local municipalities, regulatory, sewer lines, and neighboring structures. The culmination of the following was our guide for designing our apartment complex.
 
     As part of our research, we were assigned into groups to visit local T.O.D  sites and produce a report. This report was to aid us in our semester project. We needed to include pictures of the site, zoning info, environmental & site history, as well as some construction information.  My group was assigned Greybarn in Amityville which is a recently developed luxury apartment & rental complex. This site is also right next to the Southern State Parkway, and about a mile from the Amityville train station, see below.
